Cosmetology is an in-demand trade that is constantly evolving. United Technical Center offers multiple career paths to accommodate student needs not limited to hairstyling, nail care, or esthetics.
Students will be provided the opportunity to complete the State required 1800 hours and prepare for their licensure through the West Virginia State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists. During the course of enrollment at United Technical Center, students will learn valuable skills such as career building, expansion of clientele, and various employment opportunities.

Students attending United Technical Center School of Cosmetology have two options when applying. High school students entering the program will attend for two years with no tuition cost. Upon completion of the high school program, students must return to United Technical Center and finish for approximately $7,600. For new adults entering Cosmetology, the program is 18 moths. The adult program is tuition based at approximately $10,300.
